Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

MIRA CNA Training Program is approved by the California Department of Public Health and meets the state and federal regulations. 

We offer the following classes:

Weekdays classes: Theory and Clinical hours from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Afternoon classes (M-F): Theory hours from 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Clinical hours from 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Weekend classes: Theory and Clinical hours from 8:00 to 3:30 pm.

MIRA nurse assistant training program was created to train compassionate and empathetic participants and who really show interest in working in the nursing profession. 

About the Program

The program consists of 60 hours of theory class and 100 hours of clinical skills training. The curriculum modules meet all the requirements of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). After successfully completing the training program, you will feel confident and qualified to take the California Competency Exam.

Program Requirements

MIRA NCEO
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • High school or GED diploma
  • FA/CPR/AED or BLS certification
  • Picture ID (DL or passport)
  • Social Security card
  • Health Exam (Form provided during orientation)
  • Background check (Form provided during orientation)
  • 283B form (Provided during orientation)
MIRA NCEO
  • After enrolling in the CNA training program, call to schedule an appointment to attend the program orientation
  • Uniform required for the entire program: Navy blue scrubs and non-skid tennis shoes
